Sewing course at Eidsvoll

Learn to sew Melilot garments at Mari's new workshop, in the center of Eidsvoll. It is recommended to bring your own sewing machine, but it is also possible to borrow one. Please let us know if you need to borrow a sewing machine.

You can choose between these course options:

• To get help sewing one of the patterns from melilot.no or Mari's books. You must bring equipment, fabric, thread and the materials listed in the pattern.
• Tailoring, re-stitching or repairing garments that need a fixed or better fit. Bring the materials you need for the repair or re-stitching, in addition to sewing supplies and garments.
• Fit and adaptation of patterns to your own body. Bring the pattern you are using as a starting point, a sample model for testing, extra fabric to sew samples from, and any other sewing supplies you need. Feel free to use this free digital course in advance to choose your size and get started at home in advance.

The courses are suitable for both beginners and experienced users. The length of time it takes to sew the various projects varies and depends entirely on the level and sewing pace. There are limited places on the courses, so everyone gets good attention.

Registration is binding.

Address: Wergelandsgate 1 (in the same building as House of prana), in Eidsvoll city center. The building is within walking distance of Eidsvoll train station. It is a short journey from Oslo, Gardermoen and Hamar.

This applies to infectious diseases, such as contact sickness, covid etc. The course fee will not be refunded if participants have to stay home from the course. If the course is canceled due to restrictions or a sick course leader, new dates will be set up for the course.
